Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Program Manager to lead the delivery and client engagement on strategic government contracts. You will guide a delivery team, manage client relationships, and ensure success across milestones, budgets, and risk management in a remote-friendly setting.

This role requires 10+ years of program management experience overseeing large projects, strong leadership, and a collaborative, service-oriented approach to partner with government clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with Custom Software or Cloud infrastructure programs/projects.
• Experience with state government agencies and government contracting.
• Experience leading agile development teams and large-scale projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Empathetic communicator and relationship builder.
• Strong organizational and delivery planning capabilities.
• Ability to travel to Richmond, VA by direct flight, short connecting flight or train/car; work East Coast hours.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate trusted relationships with government partners and manage expectations.
• Detect risks early and coordinate with delivery teams to resolve issues.
• Engage clients regularly to understand needs and communicate progress transparently.
• Oversee milestones, dependencies, and contract modifications within the portfolio.
• Scale delivery efforts with project managers and delivery leads.
• Ensure adherence to Nava's policies and guidance at the program level.
