Job summary

Veeco seeks a Senior Program Manager for Contract Manufacturing Operations to lead the transfer of Advanced Packaging Lithography and Laser Annealing products to contract manufacturers in Asia. This six–twelve month rotation requires coordinating schedules, quality, cost, and production readiness with Veeco teams and suppliers.

The role drives governance, risk management, and escalation to enable a successful ramp, with potential move into broader Operations roles after the assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, business, or related field.
• 8+ years leading engineering, manufacturing, or product-transfer programs for semiconductor equipment or similar capital gear.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent, cross-functional programs with external suppliers and executives.
• Experience bringing new products through manufacturing readiness and ramp.
• Ability to travel globally 25%–50% during rotation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end transfer of Advanced Packaging Lithography and Laser Annealing products to contract manufacturers in Asia.
• Build and maintain integrated program plan, critical path, risk log, and mitigation actions.
• Lead cross-functional execution across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and suppliers.
• Direct supplier training and production-readiness reviews worldwide, turning build results into closure plans.
• Provide executive-level reporting on schedule, status, cost, resources, and risks.
• Deliver cost-reduction initiatives to improve manufacturability, throughput, and product performance.
• Establish governance and escalation paths for sustained volume production post-transfer.
