Job summary

Veeco is seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations for the IBD300 product line. You will lead the manufacturing organization responsible for building, testing, and delivering the IBD300, partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Service to meet commitments and business goals.

The role requires a leader with experience bringing complex capital equipment to market in a high-mix/low-volume environment, plus strong Lean/Six Sigma and DFx skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; 7+ years in manufacturing ops leadership.
• Experience in high-mix/low-volume capital equipment manufacturing.
• Proficient in Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, and production quality management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the manufacturing team for the IBD300 product line including assembly and test.
• Drive safety culture and achieve product line safety goals.
• Collaborate with engineering, software, supply chain, quality and planning.
• Optimize design for manufacturability and first pass yield.
• Improve cycle time, labor efficiency, and productivity roadmap.
• Manage manufacturing plans, staffing, capacity, and budgets.
