OVERVIEW
Build your program management career while helping advance semiconductor technology

You will apply established project management practices, exercise judgment within defined processes, and build productive working relationships while developing deeper expertise in semiconductor capital equipment and technical program management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Planning & Execution
  • Coordinate defined technical projects and program workstreams of moderate scope, using established project management practices to translate objectives into schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Monitor progress against plans, maintain project documentation and action items, and work with cross‑functional partners to address routine execution issues and keep commitments on track.
  • Exercise judgment within established processes to evaluate schedule, resource, and priority changes and recommend appropriate actions or escalation.
Cross-Functional Engineering Coordination
  • Coordinate activities across mechanical, electrical, optical, software, technician, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Service teams to support product development and release objectives.
  • Partner with Product Line Managers and engineering stakeholders to clarify requirements, priorities, ownership, and acceptance criteria for assigned projects and workstreams.
  • Support design and technical reviews and track completion of BOMs, work instructions, release documentation, and other product‑readiness deliverables.

  • Identify and track technical, schedule, resource, and supplier risks; work with project stakeholders to develop mitigation actions and elevate issues when additional support or decisions are needed.
  • Support program execution in accordance with applicable SEMI standards, regulatory requirements, and established engineering and product‑development practices.
  • Apply lessons learned, data, and structured problem solving to help resolve project issues and improve execution within assigned areas.
Stakeholder & Partner Coordination
  • Support strategic outsourcing initiatives by coordinating requirements, schedules, deliverables, and follow‑up actions between internal teams and external partners.
  • Build productive internal and external working relationships to gather information, resolve routine issues, clarify ownership, and maintain execution momentum.
  • Prepare clear, concise project updates that communicate progress, milestones, risks, scope changes, decisions, and next steps to program stakeholders and leadership.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of technical project management experience in an engineering, product development, high‑tech manufacturing, semiconductor, capital equipment, or similarly complex technical environment.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating cross‑functional engineering teams and delivering complex technical programs against schedule, scope, and business objectives.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • Experience with semiconductor capital equipment, advanced packaging, or complex electromechanical product development.
  • Experience leading outsourcing, supplier‑enabled development, or partner‑based engineering programs.
  • PMP or equivalent project/program management certification.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Strong technical program leadership with the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams without relying on direct authority.
  • Ability to translate complex technical issues, dependencies, and tradeoffs into clear actions and business‑relevant decisions.
  • Structured planning and execution skills, including schedule development, resource planning, cost estimation, risk management, and change control.
  • Strong problem‑solving judgment with the ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize competing demands, and drive issues to closure.
  • Working knowledge of product‑development processes, engineering release practices, BOMs, documentation, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project or equivalent planning tools; experience with SAP or similar enterprise systems is valuable.
  • Clear, concise communication skills with the ability to work effectively with engineering teams, business leaders, suppliers, and global partners.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, organization, and follow‑through in a fast‑paced development environment.
  • Ability to work on‑site at the San Jose facility and travel internationally up to 20% for customer, partner, and supplier engagement.
