HP is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams across engineering and product lines, delivering on schedules, budgets and resource plans while identifying risks and mitigation strategies.

You will mentor less-experienced staff, report progress to executives, and drive continuous improvement and process automation within HP’s worldwide engineering organization. Strong communication and agile program management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in CS, engineering, business or related field.
• Typically 4–7 years of experience in engineering development or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Leads a program with multiple functions and project teams to drive engineering development and implementation.
• Manages moderate to high complexity projects and delivers professional reports.
• Understands architecture, systems, and development methods to accelerate delivery.
• Leads deployment, launch and continuous improvement of new technologies and processes.
• Develops schedules, budgets, resources, and logistics with manufacturing partners.
• Coordinates activities of project teams and external partners; adjusts plans as needed.
• Communicates progress and risks to stakeholders and executives; supports decision making.
• Mentors less-experienced staff and fosters growth.
