Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a high-impact Program Manager to lead multi-site capital programs, stand up new distribution centers, and implement automation across the DC network.

You will partner with hospitals to optimize storeroom organization, inventory practices, and delivery performance while coordinating cross-functional teams. This role requires travel and strong program-management capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in program management, engineering, or operations, with at least 3 years running capital programs.
• Experience delivering multi-site deployments on schedule and on budget; commissioning material handling or automation systems.
• Operations management in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center; CapEx programs of $X million or more.

Responsibilities

• Capital programs and site build-out: own end-to-end delivery of multi-site capital programs; lead stand-ups, retrofits and expansions; manage CapEx and cost-reduction targets; write standard work after go-live.
• Hospital and customer solutions: act as the point of contact for hospitals on deliveries, storeroom organization, and inventory management; diagnose root causes and improve processes with DC operations.
• Reporting and travel: keep records of issues, build dashboards, report to senior leadership; travel ~50% to active sites and hospitals; collaborate with engineering, IT, vendors.
