Job summary

Owens & Minor seeks a Programs Manager to lead multi-site capital deployments across our distribution centers, driving automation and site readiness. You will own end-to-end delivery, coordinate with engineering, IT, and vendors, and report outcomes like sites live, capacity added, and dollars saved.

You will build standard work post go-live, manage CapEx, and serve as the hospitals’ primary contact for delivery issues, working with DC ops to fix root causes and improve storeroom and inventory

Qualifications

• 8+ years in program management, engineering, or operations.
• 3+ years running capital programs.
• Experience commissioning material handling or automation systems.
• Track record managing $X M+ CapEx.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or business.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multi-site capital programs from business case to operations handoff.
• Oversee new-site stand-ups, retrofits, and expansions of the DC network with vendors and teams.
• Manage CapEx and cost-reduction targets; monitor spend vs. plan.
• Commission automation equipment and define acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, IT, and vendors to resolve conflicts.
• Write standard work for post-go-live to sustain gains.
• Act as hospitals' point of contact for delivery issues and improve storeroom/inventory practices.
• Visit hospitals to review readiness and provide guidance; build relationships with supply chain staff.
• Develop dashboards and reports; communicate status to senior leadership.
