Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multi-project programs with defined scope, budgets, and schedules. The role requires coordinating resources, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure objectives are met, while maintaining program financial health.

The successful candidate will oversee Carrier and Fleet Programs planning, budgeting, and execution and interact with NR, suppliers, and internal offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 6+ years of experience, or a Master's with 4+ years.
• Experience leading programs with multiple integrated projects and managing costs.
• Experience collaborating with NR, NNL project offices, and major suppliers.
• Familiarity with naval propulsion programs and shipyard oversight.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the Carrier and Fleet Programs Team infrastructure.
• Obtain necessary resources to staff and support the Program.
• Define Program scope and work breakdown structure.
• Evaluate change requests and approve or reject as appropriate.
• Manage overall costs versus budget.
• Manage subcontracted relationships.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Interface with stakeholders and management to achieve objectives.
• Oversee planning, budgeting, and execution for Carrier and Fleet Programs.
• Oversee Fund management and financial performance.
