Job summary

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking an experienced project engineer to ensure Fleet Power Plant programs are planned, budgeted, and executed effectively. You will coordinate with stakeholders from the power plant community, finance, procurement, Naval Reactors, and shipyards to learn and integrate funding needs with engineering work.

Specific duties include cost estimate development, programmatic oversight of shipyard work, and managing budgets and databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical, engineering, science or construction field.

Responsibilities

• Support cost estimate and schedule development for major Naval projects.
• Provide programmatic oversight of work performed at the shipyard.
• Manage budget and portfolio databases of shipyard work.
• Support multi-organizational assessments of major project work.
