Job summary
Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a project engineer to ensure Fleet Power Plant programs are planned, funded, and executed effectively. You will coordinate with stakeholders across technical, financial, procurement, Navy reactors, and shipyards.
Responsibilities include cost estimating, schedule development, program oversight of shipyard work, and maintaining budget and portfolio databases. A Bachelor's or higher in a technical field plus relevant experience is required, with preference for
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical, engineering, science or construction field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree in a related field with 1 year of relevant experience; or currently an Intermediate Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company.
Responsibilities
- Support cost estimate and special schedule development for major Naval projects.
- Provide programmatic oversight of work performed at the shipyard.
- Manage budget and portfolio databases of shipyard work.
- Support multi-organizational assessments of major project work.
