Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate complex aviation training programs. The role includes managing budgets, staffing, and schedules, with opportunities to guide junior teammates and program staff.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in program management, PMP certification, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
• PMP certification is required.
• Ten or more years of relative experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated programs to ensure goals within time frame and funding parameters.
• Will manage more complex programs and may manage lower level Program Managers.
• Provides training to department members when required.
• Provides guidance to less senior teammates in the department.
• Establishes program plan, budget, and staffing needs for each phase of assigned program(s).
• Reviews labor and material expenditures and manages program budget.
• Reviews progress payments.
• Confers with program staff to outline work plan and assign duties and scope of authority.
• Directs and coordinates activities of program personnel in support of program quality, schedule, and budget.
• Reviews status reports and modifies schedules or plans as required.
• Prepares program reports for management, customers, or stakeholders.
• Works with stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
