Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant management and leadership experience required.
• Strong background in transportation and/or logistics is highly preferred.
• P/L management, including forecasting & budgeting.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and motor vehicle operations rules.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, employees, and support departments.
• Flexibility and agility for changing business needs and projects.
• Experience managing a P/L, including forecasting & budgeting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or GSuite and data management in spreadsheets.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and presentation abilities.
• Experience in rapid response and recovery with multiple vehicle types is desired or equivalent.
• Ability to launch operations in ambiguous environments with minimal information.

Responsibilities

• Manages global response and recovery operations in dynamic transit environments.
• Overseeing managers and customer-facing employees while ensuring safety and mitigating high-visibility situations.
• Provides strategic planning and direction to operations.
• Manages and maintains client contract compliance.
• Fosters an environment where employee suggestions are vetted and implemented.
• Provides general guidance to department managers.
• Partners with corporate support teams to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Assists with developing and managing the operational budget.
• Implements hiring decisions including terminations, promotions, and new hires.
