Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced IT project leader to own governance and drive multi-team initiatives through the product lifecycle. You will coordinate cross-functional groups, negotiate scope and trade-offs, and implement AI-enabled workflows to improve delivery and reporting.

The role requires 12+ years in PMO, a tech/business degree, and certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2. You will work in a hybrid environment near Horsham, PA, supporting secure, high-impact programs.

Job description

• Own the program governance model across initiatives, including cadences, decision rights, and escalation paths
• Maintain a portfolio-level view of priorities, resource allocation, sequencing, status, risks, and decisions
• Manage assigned projects through the product development lifecycle
• Project-manage cross-functional teams across Market Vertical, Product Management, Engineering, Testing, Legal, Operations, Security, and Release Management
• Conduct stakeholder negotiations on scope, sequencing, and trade-offs across complex projects
• Negotiate project resources with Engineering Resource Managers and review resource allocation
• Build development roadmaps and project schedules; support roadmap planning, quarterly planning, and execution tracking
• Own schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery status
• Define key performance parameters and create variance reports
• Schedule and facilitate project reviews and stakeholder updates
• Communicate program and project status, schedule variances, and mitigation options to leadership and stakeholders
• Collaborate with senior Engineering resources and stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate impacts
• Support release coordination and operational rollout activities
• Perform data analysis for project delivery and operational improvement initiatives
• Recommend improvements to processes, procedures, and operational workflows
• Leverage AI productivity tools and automation workflows for planning, reporting, documentation, and coordination
• Support AI-assisted engineering, workflow automation, and modernization initiatives

Requirements

• 12+ years of IT project management, program management, or PMO experience
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, finance, business, or related field, or equivalent experience required
• Project governance certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent) required
• Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience coordinating cross-functional delivery efforts in Agile environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in fast-paced environments
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous or evolving operational environments
• Strong proficiency with modern AI productivity tooling and AI-assisted workflows
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must successfully pass a background investigation and achieve Public Trust security clearance
• Must be located near Horsham, PA for a hybrid onsite schedule
