Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a Sr Program Analyst to implement data-driven analytics to improve program performance. The role collaborates with the business unit, program staff, FP&A, accounting, contracts, and procurement to address EAC, forecasts, backlog, and unbilled analysis across supported programs.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of related professional experience or a Master's degree with fewer years.
• Strong working knowledge of Earned Value Management principles and EVMS software.
• Experience in cost management, finance management, or pricing & estimating.
• Experience successfully managing and producing data with strict deadlines.
• Experience with financial analysis and/or cost analysis reporting.
• Strong PC skills and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze data, and strong critical thinking skills.
• The ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Management of program financials, including forecasts, revenue, OM, cash, reporting and analysis.
• Implement and maintain EVMS compliance, including cost/schedule/technical integration.
• Generate monthly CDRLs and related reporting.
• Set up and maintain cost control systems and monitor costs/schedules on contracts.
• Prepare analyses and reports to ensure contracts meet parameters and guidelines.
• Collaborate with Program Manager on baselining and EAC workbooks.
• Incorporate EVMS methodology to support performance measurement and EAC/ETC analysis.
• Support PMO VAR process with variance analysis reporting.
• Prepare budgets/schedules/forecasts for contract work and perform financial analyses.
• Provide financial analysis and monitor trends for Program Management.
• Incorporate contractual changes into control systems and maintain baselines.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual EACs.
• Develop and monitor program risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and monitor EAC workbooks for percent completion.
• Prepare monthly business forecasts of revenue, margin, and cash.
• Identify variances and impact on forecasts and annual plan.
• Support PMR reporting aligned with enterprise rhythms.
