Job summary

EnergyHub is seeking a senior software engineer to join the Program Engineering Team. You will develop scalable solutions across the stack, lead migrations to a single source of truth for program configuration, and build services that other teams rely on.

You will collaborate with product, platform engineering, and operations to modernize the user experience and ship high-impact features while mentoring colleagues and upholding a culture of technical excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with senior responsibilities.
• Senior-level experience with Java + Spring ecosystem.
• Experience with web services, RESTful APIs, and contract-driven development.
• Strong testing methodologies and full SDLC practices.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and autonomous execution.

Responsibilities

• Own design of source of truth for program configuration and migration path.
• Lead schema design and data flow architecture.
• Build and maintain microservices and APIs using contract-driven development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and other teams.
• Mentor and support other engineers, fostering technical culture.
