What you’ll do:

• Contribute to all aspects of the software stack (distributed services, queuing, data layers).
• Expand and improve their cloud‑based production system.
• Design, develop, test, and review code.
• Work on next‑generation demand response and energy efficiency services.
• Collaborate with device manufacturers for device integration.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to deliver a seamless integration experience for partners.

You’re a great fit if you have:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience (preferably in a small to medium‑sized team).
• Strong Java skills (Java 11+ preferred).
• Experience with web services and RESTful APIs (using Spring).

Bonus points for:

• Experience with scripting languages (Python).
• Knowledge of information security (PKI, TLS, OAuth, SSO, penetration testing).
• Front‑end development skills (React, Sass, Webpack, Backbone.js).
• Experience with development tools and processes (automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring).
• Database and data processing experience (specific tools mentioned in the job description is a plus).

Salary Range: $120,000 – $170,000 per year (based on location, skills, and experience).
