Job summary

Accenture Construct seeks a senior program leader to drive execution of major rail and transit infrastructure. You will oversee pre-construction through commissioning, managing multiple contracts and regulatory interfaces with high‑level client executives.

The role requires 15+ years delivering complex rail projects, a PE license (NY preferred), and proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams while maintaining schedule, cost, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required – New York strongly preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience delivering major rail and transit infrastructure projects of comparable size and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and overall management of all project phases including pre construction, procurement support, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Oversee multiple design-build and/or alternative delivery contracts, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Serve as primary liaison with client executive leadership, project controls, legal, and regulatory agencies.
• Lead contract administration activities including change management, claims avoidance and resolution, risk management, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Establish and enforce project governance, reporting structures, and performance metrics aligned with rail standards and FTA / FRA requirements.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams including construction management, design support, QA, safety, environmental compliance, and stakeholder coordination.
