Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead construction management on transit projects at client sites in California. The role requires extensive experience in overseeing project scope, schedule, and budget, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will review contractor performance, maintain records, and prepare change orders, with a focus on delivering on-time, on-budget facilities for infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in California.
• Minimum ten years of experience in Construction Management on transit projects of at least $30 million.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience in management of major construction contracts.
• Valid California Class C driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of Accenture and Client personnel, state and contractor employees and the traveling public.
• Review contractor operations for CAL OSHA compliance.
• Maintain complete project records per regulations and laws.
• Confer with contractors regarding plans, quality of work and construction activity.
• Perform field inspections to determine compliance with plans and specs.
• Prepare reports and incorporate daily field inspection reports.
• Monitor project schedule and budget and report to executive leadership.
• Prepare contract change orders and document field conditions necessitating changes.
