Job summary

Montgomery County, OH seeks an experienced professional to lead services administration. You will oversee planning, coordination and evaluation of programs for committees and agencies, under administrative direction.

You will gather needs, review plans, and allocate funds while consulting with boards and community programs. A graduate or undergraduate degree in relevant fields and several years in program administration are required.

Qualifications

Graduate degree in social services, public policy, planning or related discipline with emphasis on program administration.
Undergraduate major in human services, public policy, marketing or communications with experience in program administration.
Alternative, equivalent evidence of the minimum class requirements accepted.

Responsibilities

Lead professional over staff to plan, coordinate and evaluate programs for assigned committees and agencies.
Develop and direct programs for the county, establishing goals and objectives, coordinating services with related agencies.
Interpret laws, policies and procedures, act as liaison between county and community agencies in contract negotiations and information sharing.
Represent the section at meetings, seminars and conferences and provide staff training as required.
