Job summary

RTX in the US-CA area is seeking a Program Controls/Finance professional to partner with Operations and Program Office teams, supporting production, development, and contract execution. You will manage financial activities for multiple programs within a portfolio and contribute to accurate forecasting and reporting.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field with 5+ years of experience, and U.S. citizenship for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience performing financial analysis and reviewing financial data.
• Experience preparing financial reports and summarizing financial analysis.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations and Program Office functional teams to support production, development, and depot contract execution.
• Manage financial activities for multiple programs within a portfolio.
• Support program startup, maintenance, and financial activities, including intercompany transfer processing, project setup, and NWA management.
• Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) cost and schedule control activities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports, including LRE development and financial variance analysis.
• Support IPT coordination, development, and delivery of monthly financial forecasts.
• Prepare and analyze quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs), including cost analysis, risks, and opportunities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and internal customers across multiple locations and time zones.
