Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector seeks a Program Cost Control Analyst – Level 4 in Redondo Beach, CA to lead budgeting, cost/schedule integration, and Earned Value Management activities on missions of national importance.

The role requires on-site work daily in Redondo Beach, with a 9/80 schedule and every other Friday off. You will collaborate with CAMs and program managers, prepare baselines and projections, and support audits and financial reporting throughout the program lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience – OR – PhD with 4 years of professional experience
• No clearance required to start
• Experience with financial analysis or reporting
• Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
• Experience with MS Office Suite
• Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Interface with the program manager, CAMs and cost managers to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements.
• Monitor costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system and perform EVM tasks.
• Analyze variances/trends and develop new methods and process techniques.
• Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management.
• Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure contracts stay within negotiated parameters.
