Job summary

Jobtailor in Miami, FL, seeks a seasoned Project Controls Manager to lead budgets, forecasts, and schedules across complex installations. You will monitor performance, identify risks, and support cross-functional teams from planning through closeout, ensuring compliance with company standards.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, hands-on experience with SAP, MS Project, Primavera P6, and advanced Excel, plus PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in program controls, project controls, project management, or related field.
  • Strong experience with project budgets, financial analysis, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, timelines, and schedule control.
  • Experience supporting projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • Experience identifying and mitigating cost, schedule, compliance, and execution risks.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with Finance, Project Management, Engineering, Field Service, Installation, contractors, and customers.
  • Experience with Building Automation Systems, HVAC Controls, Fire & Security, or building systems preferred but not required.
  • Experience supporting installation, implementation, commissioning, or field service projects preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and financial reporting/forecasting skills preferred.
  • Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling tools preferred.
  • PMP or project controls certification preferred.
  • Experience with change management, scope control, earned value, or cost-to-complete forecasting preferred.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization or global company preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills preferred.
  • Candidate must be a US citizen, permanent resident, asylum/refugee, or able to get export approval.
