Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Program Controls Manager to oversee controls activities for multi-project programs, ensuring alignment with overarching objectives and robust risk management. The role involves coordinating across projects, guiding controls teams, and reporting progress to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in PM, Engineering, or Business with extensive related experience, plus a preferred Masters and PowerBI experience for program reporting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Project Management, Engineering, or Business plus 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Masters degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program controls activities for medium-sized programs or defined control elements of larger programs.
• Coordinate across multiple projects within the program to align with overarching objectives.
• Identify interdependencies, mitigate risks, and resolve conflicts to maintain program integrity.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization.
• Maintain relationships with senior leadership to define program-level objectives and provide guidance to project controls teams.
• Monitor and evaluate risk mitigation strategies and adjust as needed.
• Facilitate clear communication between project teams and stakeholders and report progress to senior leadership.
