Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Program Controls Director to lead and oversee complex, multi-project programs at a strategic level while ensuring disciplined execution. Collaborative leadership of cross-functional teams will align cost, schedule, risk, and performance with program goals.

You will guide senior executives, coordinate across diverse project teams, and drive data-informed decisions through clear communication and standardized controls, shaping transportation, water, and aviation initiatives

Qualifications

• Seasoned leadership with 12+ years in program controls or related field.
• Experience with large transportation, water, and aviation infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication with executives and stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to implement and govern cost, schedule, risk, and performance controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct Program Controls for large-scale, strategically significant programs.
• Provide authoritative senior-level guidance for program controls aligned with executive objectives.
• Coordinate across multiple projects within a program to ensure alignment with goals.
• Identify interdependencies between projects and advise on risk mitigation.
• Provide oversight to project controls teams and ensure rigorous management of elements.
• Communicate clearly with project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership, delivering actionable updates.
• Implement control measures to safeguard program integrity and optimize resources.
• Develop standardized processes to improve program efficiency across all phases.
• Conduct regular performance assessments and risk analyses with strategic recommendations.
