Job summary

AECOM is seeking a highly qualified Program Controls Manager to oversee program controls across medium-sized programs and defined elements of larger programs. You will coordinate across projects, identify interdependencies, and mitigate risks to maintain program integrity.

You will work with project managers and senior leadership to ensure resources are optimized and progress is communicated clearly. This is an on-site role based in US Arlington, VA, supporting major infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Project Management, Engineering, or Business plus 8 years of related experience.
• Masters degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business preferred.
• 12 years of related experience across large infrastructure projects is a plus.
• Experience with PowerBI report tailoring for program needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of program controls for medium-sized programs or defined elements of larger programs.
• Coordinate across multiple projects to align with program objectives.
• Identify interdependencies, mitigate risks, and resolve conflicts to maintain program integrity.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure optimal resource allocation.
• Provide guidance to project controls teams and monitor risk mitigation effectiveness.
• Communicate progress to senior leadership with clarity and accountability.
