Job summary

VTG Defense in Washington DC seeks a Senior Program Analyst / Executive Assistant to support Navy leadership on site at the Washington Navy Yard. The role delivers on-demand professional support to Flag Officers, Executive Directors and COS for the Deputy Portfolio Acquisition Executive.

The candidate will lead knowledge management, strategic planning, briefing development, and tasking coordination. 7–12 years of DOD EA experience with an active Top Secret/DOD clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of DOD analyst support and EA experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Management.
• SharePoint and DTS experience required.
• MS Office proficiency, especially PowerPoint, Word, Access and Excel.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required and sustainment ability.
• Proactive customer service with management experience.

Job description

VTG is seeking a Senior Program Analyst / Executive Assistant to support the Navy located at the Washington DC, Navy Yard. Position is 100% onsite. The Sr. Program Analyst will provide on-demand timely professional support services to the Flag Officers, Executive Directors and COS for Deputy Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Deputy Combatants.

What will you do?

• Seeking a proven communication, analytics, and strategic action officer, a capable person to provide leadership with knowledge management, strategic planning, brief development, action tracking, schedule and travel coordination and communication support to include messaging, configuration control, database management, and proactive thinking.
• The Sr. Program Analyst will proactively and re-actively respond short and long-term tasking from leadership, coordinating as necessary with stakeholders, to provide quality on time products to include communication strategies, briefs, point papers, and analysis.
• Work strategic initiatives to assess data and metrics to make recommendations on gathering, filing, controlling, and maintaining data for rapid use.
• Developing strategic initiatives that focus on improved business practices as well as improved data utilization, messaging and tasker responses, and technical/program execution processes.

Required Skills

• 7-12 years of Experience in DOD Analyst Support to include Flag Level Strategy Planning, Communication Approaches, Brief Development, Knowledge Management, and Process Improvement and Executive Administration (EA) experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or other equivalent
• SharePoint Knowledge/Experience.
• Defense Travel System (DTS) experience
• MS Suite - Specifically Power Point, Word, Access, and Excel.
• Proactive and excellent customer service with management experience.
• Creative, poised, and flexible
• Must have an active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to sustain one.

Preferred Skills

• Experience as a former Action Officer/Operations
• NAVSEA or PEO Ships experience

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $90,000-$125,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range
