Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in professional liability or complex civil litigation.
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar in good standing; admission in other jurisdictions a plus.
• Strong deposition, motion practice, and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage professional liability and malpractice matters through all litigation phases.
• Develop case strategy and evaluate liability, causation, damages, and risk exposure.
• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Draft and supervise the preparation of pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and expert materials.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, insurers, and witnesses.
• Collaborate with expert witnesses and consultants across various disciplines.
• Mentor junior associates and contribute to team development and training.
• Participate in business development initiatives and industry events.
• Support trial preparation and serve as trial counsel when applicable.
