Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an experienced Senior Associate Attorney for its Boston, MA office. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in commercial litigation, creditors' rights, commercial collections, workouts, and real estate foreclosure, and will manage a diverse caseload from referral to final resolution.

The attorney will collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, clients, and support staff in a fast-paced environment and must be proficient in legal research, writing,

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Massachusetts Bar admission.
• Familiarity with Massachusetts civil litigation and foreclosure procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial litigation, creditors' rights, and collection matters from inception to resolution.
• Handle real estate foreclosure including title review and notices.
• Draft and review complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Appear in MA state and federal courts for various proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel to resolve disputes.
• Develop strategies for litigation, foreclosure, collection, and settlement.
