• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience or have held the highest premium position within their manufacturing group for 12 months.
• Ability to translate goals into shift/crew priorities and maintain safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Translates and/or determines goals & priorities for shift/crew.
• Resolves problems and advises management, seeking assistance for complex problems.
• Assists supervisor with production flow and staffing schedules.
• Monitors and evaluates training, making adjustments where needed; ensures crews are trained and back-ups exist.
• Is a role model for leadership, attendance and safety practices.
• Participates in safety efforts that meet SRP audit scores.
• Facilitates shift/crew meetings (safety, lean) and communicates clearly.
