Job summary

Wilsonart is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a technical and hourly team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role focuses on optimizing production processes, safety, quality, and on-time delivery through strong leadership and data-driven decisions.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor degree in a relevant field and proven ability to drive Lean improvements while coordinating with maintenance, sales, and materials teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage hourly workforce to achieve a production schedule.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate production activities through Task Leaders while using knowledge of product, process, and equipment capabilities.
• Conduct regular team meetings ensuring communication of information to employees.
• Establish and communicate production capacity and update as changes occur.
• Confer with management to set production and quality standards and obtain data on quantities, specs, and delivery dates.
• Establish department metrics to minimize quality problems and reduce cost.
