Job summary

Johnson Controls in Lubbock, TX is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a dedicated team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will drive daily production goals while prioritizing safety, quality, and operational excellence.

You will direct workflow, manage costs, address delays, and partner with engineering to implement improvements. This role requires shift availability and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• University degree and 3 year suggested minimum experience, or 2 year degree and 6 years suggested minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Availability to work 2nd shift (Mon-Sat: 2:30PM-1:00AM)
• Proficiency using MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of a work team to meet daily production schedules.
• Uphold safety, quality and cost control in the production area.
• Apply LEAN tools to measure and improve department performance.
• Collaborate with engineering for cost reductions and scheduling improvements.
• Promote a safe work environment and maintain records.
