Job summary

Molex ADS is seeking a Senior Production Control Planner to lead complex production scheduling and align demand with material availability, inventory, and capacity. You will guide planning across teams, resolve high-impact constraints, and use data-driven analysis to improve delivery and reliability.

You will join a cross-functional Supply Chain and Manufacturing Planning team that collaborates with Sales, Quality, Engineering, and Plant Operations to balance customer requirements with capacity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, business, or related field.
• 5+ years in production planning, production control, MRP, inventory control, or related function.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Glovia, SAP, Oracle) and Excel for planning, analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of production schedules for complex product lines considering priorities, materials, labor, capacity and inventory.
• Analyze orders, forecasts, backlog, and changes to identify risks and set planning priorities.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, engineering, quality, and operations to resolve shortages and capacity constraints.
• Monitor planning metrics like on-time delivery, schedule adherence, backlog and inventory; drive root-cause actions.
• Provide scenario analysis to optimize resource allocation, lead time, and throughput.
• Serve as SME for production control processes, ERP/MRP data integrity, planning parameters, and scheduling best practices.
• Mentor junior planners and standardize planning processes across the team.
