Job summary

MP Materials is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to develop and maintain production plans for designated manufacturing centers within a large-scale facility. You will balance customer demand with capacity, materials, labor, and maintenance requirements while collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to deliver actionable schedules.

Responsibilities include creating detailed plans, monitoring execution, and driving improvements in throughput and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years in production planning within a large-scale manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MMRP/APS systems, preferably SAP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production plans and schedules.
• Balance demand, inventory, capacity, labor, and constraints when creating schedules.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, and Customer Service.
• Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans as business needs change.
• Support inventory optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
