Molex Optical Connectivity Group is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to improve production efficiency, ensure material availability, and support customer satisfaction through effective planning and coordination.

This role balances demand, inventory, and manufacturing capacity while partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence and on-time delivery for our customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing planning, production planning, supply chain, operations, or related field.
• Experience analyzing data and using Microsoft Excel to support business decisions.
• Experience coordinating work across multiple stakeholders in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to support customer demand and business objectives.
• Analyze forecasts, inventory levels, capacity constraints, and material availability to create effective production plans.
• Partner with production, procurement, engineering, logistics, quality, and product management teams to align priorities and resolve planning challenges.
• Utilize digital dashboards and visual management tools to monitor job status, identify delays, communicate priorities, and elevate issues to maintain production flow and on-time delivery.
• Monitor schedule adherence and proactively identify risks that may impact delivery commitments.
• Utilize ERP and planning systems to manage inventory, improve material flow, and optimize manufacturing performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to planning processes, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
• Analyze planning metrics and communicate recommendations to support informed business decisions.
