Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Principal Production Operations professional in Baltimore, MD to lead cross-functional manufacturing programs. You will coordinate with PMO, Manufacturing, Test, SCM, Engineering, and Shipping to ensure cost and schedule targets are met, while driving CAM responsibilities and EVMS reporting.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration across disciplines, with a focus on delivering program visibility and successful execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years PM/Manufacturing, or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day interfaces between PMO, Manufacturing, Test, MRP, MA, SCM, Engineering, and Shipping.
• Achieve targeted cost and schedule requirements.
• Facilitate internal meetings to support design, production, and problem resolution.
• Report EVMS and act as CAM for manufacturing projects.
• Lead or participate on a product team for requirements analysis, engineering and manufacturing, and product visibility.
• Represent manufacturing at Risk Review Board and manage manufacturing risks & opportunities.
• Support and generate proposal documentation as needed.
