Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector in Buffalo, NY seeks a Principal Production Operations liaison. You will act as the Operations Project Manager for assigned products and coordinate manufacturing interfaces across PMO, MRP, QMA, GSC, engineering and shipping.

This role requires strong leadership, cost and schedule discipline, and EVMS/CAM experience. Onsite full-time with occasional travel and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related discipline with minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Experience managing and communicating statuses on complex projects to all levels of management.
• Experience leading a team and prioritizing to meet cost and schedule requirements.
• Experience with cost and schedule data analysis and other manufacturing metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project).

Responsibilities

• Act as the Operations Project Manager for assigned products and programs.
• Coordinate interfaces between Manufacturing and PMO, MRP, QMA, GSC, Engineering, and Shipping.
• Provide leadership through design, build, test, and delivery to meet objectives.
• Forecast and report program cost, schedule, and quality performance.
• Manage inputs of demands and create schedules in the MRP system.
