Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Principal Production Operations Management to lead project teams and oversee manufacturing scope for a multimillion-dollar naval propulsion program. You will coordinate with client and internal teams to meet revenue and cost targets while guiding manufacturing excellence.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in program management, ERP systems, EVMS, and SAP, with a Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience, or a master’s degree with 3+ years.
Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
Minimum 3 years of Program/Project Management.
Experience using ERP systems.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct one or more project teams in the professional services arena.
Prepare project execution plans and coordinate activities between client and company personnel.
Monitor project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue and cost projections.
Oversee performance of projects and provide technical and analytical guidance to teams.
Ensure manufacturing issues and roadblocks are resolved quickly to keep schedule and budget.
Be a key contact within manufacturing for the program.
