Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking a Principal Production Operations Management to lead the manufacturing scope of a multimillion-dollar naval propulsion and power generation program. You will guide the manufacturing team, resolve issues, and ensure on-time, on-budget performance by applying EVMS and cost management practices.

Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional responses, performing risk/opportunity management, and serving as a primary contact

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience OR 3 years with a Master’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Program and/or Project Management.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct one or more project teams in the professional services arena.
• Prepare project execution plans and coordinate activities between client and company personnel.
• Monitor project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue and cost projections.
• Oversee performance of projects or engagements with management focus over technical work.
• Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams.
