Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Sr. Principal Production Operations to serve as manufacturing liaison for strategy and execution on high‑stakes programs.

This 100% on-site role drives cross‑functional collaboration across product development, manufacturing, test, and supply chain, delivering schedules, cost controls, and quality improvements while supporting government-cleared programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in PM, Manufacturing Eng, or related field.
• Master’s degree with 6+ years in PM, Manufacturing Eng, or related field.
• Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement.
• Experience liaising between multiple disciplines to solve complex problems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance and SAP.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with program management to develop and execute manufacturing strategy.
• Lead product development, manufacturing, test, global supply chain, and mission assurance activities for programs.
• Oversee and coordinate proposals, master production schedules, and material planning.
• Drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation across programs.
• Coordinate with engineering, suppliers, and customers for issue resolution.
