Qualifications

• 12+ years in application support or production operations in financial services
• 5+ years in management
• Experience building/leading teams (local or remote)
• Experience with BCP and DR environments
• Experience with FIX/OMS/EMS, market data, exchange connectivity, or algo trading
• Experience with low-latency trading architectures
• Experience with monitoring: eG, Prometheus, Grafana, LogicMonitor, Geneos/ITRS, Splunk
• Experience implementing SRE practices at scale

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of SREs and production engineers for electronic trading and middle/back-office platforms
• Define and manage SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, error budgets, availability, latency, and capacity targets
• Drive automation, ownership, and operational excellence
• Ensure 24x7 coverage based on business requirements
• Own releases, change deployment, and vendor upgrades
• Support IAM, compliance, and audit activities
• Lead disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
• Provide regular KPI reporting to technology leadership and stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve systemic reliability issues
