Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager Production Planner and Scheduler – Level 2 in Englewood, CO. This role leads a team responsible for material coordination, make/buy planning, and scheduling to support production lines.

The position requires a relevant degree with 8+ years of experience, strong communication, and an ability to obtain government clearance. The role works within Space System operations, focusing on coordinating across quality, procurement, engineering, and inventory while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years of Master scheduling/production scheduling MRP experience (preferably in multiple MRP systems).
• Experience leading and managing teams in a supervisory capacity.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a team that plans and schedules movement of materials through production and inventory processes.
• Plans, issues, and controls production manufacturing orders; coordinates with material planning and distribution.
• Owns providing the production line with what is needed to execute production (materials, planning, schedules).
• Advises management on status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
• Verifies material supply and demands; prepares manufacturing orders to align with master schedule and inventory needs.
