Northrop Grumman in Magna, UT is seeking a Production Planner (Level 2) or Principal Production Planner (Level 3) to join our manufacturing planning team. You will manage manufacturing orders, schedule material movements, and ensure on-time delivery for aerospace production.

Strong MRP expertise (Costpoint, Sync) and excellent writing/communication skills are essential. Relevant experience in aerospace/defense is preferred, with a path to lead planning activities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 6+ years in operations or BS with 2+ years, or MS.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Proficiency in MRP systems and related software; strong writing and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Create and maintain manufacturing orders to support production on the floor.
• Utilize Costpoint and Sync to ensure timely material flow to meet schedule.
• Interface with Material Planning and Receiving QC to ensure parts are in inventory.
• Ensure materials are picked and delivered to point of use and consumed in MRP.
• Advise management on WIP status, material availability, and potential issues.
• Schedule and expedite material movements via move orders and transfers.
• Seek feedback from operations and incorporate into planning.
• Resolve inventory problems with other departments.
