Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Englewood, CO seeks a Manager Production Planner and Scheduler – Level 2 to lead a team coordinating material planning, scheduling, and manufacturing orders. You’ll drive MRP alignment, capacity planning, and cross-functional collaboration with quality, purchasing, and engineering to meet production commitments.

This role requires strong leadership, manufacturing know‑how, and the ability to obtain/maintain a US government clearance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 8+ years in operations planning or production scheduling.
• 2+ years of master scheduling/production scheduling MRP experience (preferably in multiple MRP systems).
• Experience leading and managing teams in a supervisory capacity.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality controls.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises a team planning and scheduling movement of materials through production and inventory processes.
• Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production manufacturing orders and coordinates with material planning/distribution.
• Owns providing the production line with materials, planning, and schedules.
• Advises management on status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
• Ensures MRP demand aligns to the production schedule and communicates impacts of misalignments.
• Verifies material supply and demands, prepares manufacturing orders to produce components based on MRP demand.
• Coordinates interdepartmental activity with QA, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, and logistics.
• Identifies and develops team member skills; enforces standards and KPIs.
• Manages budget and ensures team performance within budget and schedule.
