Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler for the AFT Module within the VSI work center. You will own the daily production schedule, build shift‑level sequences, coordinate material readiness, and remove blockers to keep builds flowing smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in a related field and 1–3 years of aerospace production planning experience, plus strong proficiency with CPM scheduling and MS Project.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Production Management, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain preferred.
• 1–3 years of recent aerospace production control planning and scheduling experience preferred.
• Read and understand technical documents including blueprints and schematics.
• Experience in CPM scheduling using MS Project.
• Ability to work full-time schedule, including travel, overtime or on-call.
• Digital literacy and ability to work with data-driven tools.
• Ability to earn trust and contribute to an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Develops the production schedule and manufacturing plan for the AFT Module based on program schedule and resources.
• Manages production schedules for multiple systems and shifts.
• Provides detailed information to align dates with capacity and performance.
• Prepares job sequences for the AFT build with constraints and dependencies.
• Collaborates with production to match shop floor needs and constraints.
• Coordinates escalations with Quality, Purchasing, and Engineering to ensure accuracy.
• Monitors progress and updates management on priorities.
• Maintains visual management boards and reports weekly status.
