Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler to own the daily production schedule for the AFT Module in the VSI work center. You will build shift-level sequences, coordinate material readiness, and deliver a clean daily punch list to each shift to optimize build efficiency.

The role requires CPM scheduling experience, ability to read technical docs, and collaboration across Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Production Management, Business Management, Industrial Engineering and/or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 1–3 years of production control planning and scheduling experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred.
• Read and understand technical documents including blueprints and schematics.
• Experience creating and maintaining schedules with CPM methodology in MS Project.
• Able to work a full-time schedule, including travel, overtime, or on-call work.
• U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card) or otherwise eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develops the production schedule and manufacturing plan for the AFT Module based on program schedule, build cadence, exit rate, labor, and material availability.
• Manages production schedules for multiple systems and shifts.
• Prepares job sequence requirements for the AFT build, considering zone constraints and interdependencies.
• Coordinates with cross-functional groups to ensure schedules align with capacities and requirements.
• Maintains the execution calendar and updates management on progress and priorities.
