Job summary

Blue Origin in the United States is seeking an experienced Production Scheduler to develop the production schedule and manufacturing plan across programs. You will balance program milestones, labor, and machine capacity while maintaining schedule integrity and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor junior planners, apply CPM methods in MS Project or Primavera P6, and drive digital tools and automation to reduce manual work and improve on-time delivery in a dynamic aerospace

Qualifications

• Experience creating and maintaining schedules with CPM methodology using MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents including blueprints/schematics.
• Digital tools adoption and automation of manual processes (macros, scripting, AI tools).
• Experience working in aerospace manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develops the production schedule and manufacturing plan based on program schedule, labor, and machine resource availability.
• Proactively identifies schedule risks and communicates status to leadership.
• Maintains schedule baseline integrity and manages change control for schedule revisions.
• Manages production schedules for multiple programs.
• Provides detailed information to ensure dates align with work center capacity and performance.
• Mentors and develops junior planners to raise scheduling proficiency.
• Coordinates interdepartmental activity to ensure accurate and timely production schedules.
• Drives digital tooling and automation to reduce repetitive work and maximize impact.
