Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler to own the daily production schedule for the AFT Module in the VSI work center. You will build the shift-level sequence, coordinate material readiness, and deliver a clean daily punch list to each shift, enabling technicians to build efficiently.

The role requires 1-3 years in aerospace production control planning, CPM scheduling in MS Project, and a willingness to work a full-time schedule with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Production Management, Business Management, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops the production schedule and manufacturing plan for the AFT Module based on program schedule and resource availability.
• Manage production schedules for multiple systems and shifts with capacity and performance awareness.
• Prepare job sequence requirements for AFT build, considering zone stacking constraints and test gates.
• Coordinate with production teams to meet shop floor needs and constraints.
• Escalate issues across Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering to keep schedules on track.
• Provide updates to management on progress and upcoming priorities.
• Maintain visual management boards with current status.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Program Management to improve workflows.
• Release work orders based on demand, material availability, capacity and business objectives.
• Maintain a 10-day look-ahead calendar aligned to IMS critical path.
