Job summary

Philips in Minnesota is seeking a Production Planner 2 to own the rough-cut capacity plan, MPS and DPS, balancing demand, capacity, and materials to keep commitments on track.

You will release production schedules to the shop floor, create production orders in SAP, and use MRP to ensure materials are ready when needed. This onsite role requires 4+ years of planning experience and relevant education; CPIM is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in production planning or related field.
• Bachelor's or vocational degree in mechanical/electro-mechanical/industrial engineering, operations management, supply chain management or production engineering.
• CPIM certification preferred.
• Ability to meet physical, cognitive and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own rough-cut capacity plan, MPS and DPS balancing demand, capacity and material availability.
• Release production schedules to shop floor and create production orders in SAP.
• Use MRP to ensure materials availability.
• Resolve production order and material issues with manufacturing, purchasing and quality.
• Track schedule adherence, inventory and backlog, and use data to spot risks and drive actions.
• Apply planning expertise to NPIs and drive process improvements.
