Job summary

Philips in Bedford, MA seeks a Production Planner - Integrated Planning to execute end-to-end production planning and scheduling, develop MPS/DPS aligned with capacity strategies and AOP commitments, and manage buffers and supermarket inventory using DDMRP for on-time delivery.

You will coordinate master data, generate DPS/MPS with MRPs, release schedules to shop floor, and drive KPI improvements through continuous improvement techniques and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, production engineering or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree / Vocational Education in Mechanical, Electro-mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Production Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates planning-related master data management with EIM for accuracy and consistency.
• Generates Detailed Production Schedule (DPS) and Master Production Schedule (MPS) with an MRP.
• Issues production schedules to the shop floor and conducts regular planning meetings to synchronize activities.
• Initiates improvements to planning processes and KPIs using various planning methodologies.
• Releases and manages production order and material-related issues to facilitate resolutions.
