Job summary

Philips is seeking a Production Planner 2 to own the rough-cut capacity plan, MPS, and DPS, balancing demand, capacity, and material availability to keep commitments on track. You will release schedules to the shop floor and create production orders in SAP, using MRP to ensure materials are ready when needed.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in production planning with a related degree; CPIM is preferred. This onsite, full-time role offers opportunities to improve processes and support NPIs

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in production planning or related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electro-mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Production Engineering or equivalent.
• CPIM Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the site's rough-cut capacity plan, MPS and DPS.
• Balance demand, capacity and material availability to keep commitments.
• Release production schedules to the shop floor and create production orders in SAP.
• Use MRP to ensure materials are ready when needed.
• Resolve production order and material issues with negotiation and technical know-how.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing and Quality to find practical solutions.
• Track schedule adherence, inventory and backlog; use data to spot risks and recommend actions.
• Help drive process improvements and support NPIs.
